SyNRAC: A Maple-Package for Solving Real Algebraic Constraints
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present a Maple package called SyNRAC. This package is aimed at becoming a comprehensive toolbox for solving real algebraic constraints derived from various engineering problems. The current version of SyNRAC provides quantifier elimination for up to the quadratic case and basic simplifiers of formulas, as well as an environment dealing with first-Order formulas over the reals on Maple.

Development of SyNRAC-Formula Description and New Functions
In this paper we present newly developed functions in Maplepackage SyNRAC, for solving real algebraic constraints derived from various engineering problems. The current version of SyNRAC provides quantifier elimination (QE) for the quadratic case and an environment dealing with first-order formulas over the reals (including new simplifiers of formulas) on Maple.
متن کاملSyNRAC: A New Maple Package for Supporting Design and Analysis in Engineering
We present SyNRAC, a symbolic computation package for solving real algebraic constraints. Algorithms in SyNRAC are implemented on the Maple software and they are expected to provide many users with symbolic methods of dealing with practical problems in engineering. SyNRAC is to be aimed to support symbolic, numerical, and symbolic-numeric computation. Until now we have emphasized on symbolic me...
متن کاملAutomated Deduction in Real Geometry
Including three aspects, problem solving, theorem proving and theorem discovering, automated deduction in real geometry essentially depends upon the semi-algebraic system solving. A “semi-algebraic system” is a system consisting of polynomial equations, polynomial inequations and polynomial inequalities, where all the polynomials are of integer coefficients. We give three practical algorithms f...
متن کاملA New Maple Package for Solving Parametric Polynomial Systems
A new Maple package RootFinding[Parametric]for solving parametric systems of polynomial equations and inequalities is described. The main idea for solving such a system is as follows. The parameter space R is divided into two parts: the discriminant variety W and its complement Rd\W . The discriminant variety is a generalization of the well-known discriminant of a univariate polynomial and cont...
متن کاملDISCOVERER : A tool for solving problems involving polynomial inequalities ∗
discoverer, developed under Maple, is a package aiming at discovering and proving inequality-type theorems. It can discover new inequalities automatically, without requiring us to put forward any conjectures beforehand. It is also applied to the classification of the real physical solutions of geometric constraint problems. Many inequalities with various backgrounds have been discovered or re-d...
